As a percentage I'd bet Fairy has more viable members than any other type except maybe Dragon. Even the shittier ones have niches, Aromatise is one of the best Trick Roomers in the game and Slurpuff has that Belly Drum + Unburden set.

I was running Clefable in Gen V already, and thus I have trouble letting go of Ice Beam. With Moonblast it's now gained a powerful STAB which also works against Dragons, but that 4x effectiveness on shit like Gliscor or Garchomp is just too tempting.

Wiggly has surprisingly good bulk with max. Defense EVs and Assault Vest. All stat drops mean +2 Sp. Attack thanks to Competitive. The main reason why it worked because this guy has incredible synergy with Aegislash since they cover each other's weaknesses pretty well. I'm trying to make it to battle 50 with Wiggly. I know it's possible, because I already made it to 40.

The main reason why it worked because VGC is full of Intimidate so Wigglytuff constantly got the +2 boost. Even though Tuff isn't still a great Pokemon, it got a huge buff with Fairy-type and Competitive.

Its usable yes, although Azumarill and Mawile does the physical fairy job better. Heal Bell however gives it a niche to be able to run an offensive cleric set. If your gonna try to run CC on it, Trick Room support would better since it gets outsped alot and it can't afford those lowered defenses.
