Did they redesign Cycling Road completely? I forgot this is the first time we've gotten one since Sinnoh and the ORAS one seems to pretty much become a separate route

OP got it wrong. The image for the remake is near the beginning of the route (where you fight your rival) and the image for the original is near the end of the route.

why the fuck is the right image so much duller looking? How the fuck is it that the original sprite crap is so much brighter and enjoyable to look at? holy fuck, I thought team B was going to fix the dull look of X and Y but here they are again with this shit lightning and dull palette. Please tell me this is some beta crap that they're going to fix within the 5 months from now till the release date.

Gamefreak need to learn that natural bodies of water (and now including puddles) aren't square. Hopefully they'll polish this route up over the next five months.

Also is it just me or is that grass incredibly dark? Compared to the originals and XY.

The grass in X and Y was too bright and almost neon green.

What?

The "original sprite crap" is fucking dull and washed out as hell compared to the remakes. You can clearly see the darker shade of green, more defined colour for the dirt (originals look more like sand), hell even the water looks better in the remake which you can kind of see along the bottom.

Get yo eyes checked.

It's a bit concerning that they have all these right angles in the previews, seeing as one of the best things Kalos brought to the design was the curved paths and natural-looking features.
