Gates' problem was the fact that it cut off like 90% of the Pokemon being available, the starter Pokemon consisted of Pikachu, Axew, and the three starters, and paid downloadable content. No dungeon in the game goes above floor 20(30?) without this DLC. Also the final boss isn't even a Pokemon or anything. It's like this giant snowflake thing.
The general story was good because it's the mystery dungeon team, but fuck like every other part of the game was a rushed wasted effort.
