Team Aqua's redesigns bug me.
First off, the changes to their design suggest that rather than being eco-terrorists who dress like pirates for aesthetic purposes/marketing, they are now actual pirates. I mean, jesus, they're almost as done up in goofy pirate shit as that guy Ash had the super saiyen fights with in the Manaphy movie.
Secondly, Shelly was one of my favorite character designs in RSE. I'm fine with radical changes for the boys, they were boring and almost indistinguishable from the male grunts. But why is Courtney not all that far off from her original look while Shelly is an entirely different person without a single recognizable feature? It bums me out man, and I normally love some delicious brown.
Lastly... why the fuck is Archie a Final Fantasy villain? His old suit was swag as fuck and now he's got belts and zippers coming out the ass. Maxie looks really great, his new outfit is stylish and unique looking, why is Archie stuck looking like he's plotting how to take down Aquaman?
Team Aqua really got the ball dropped on them, which is crazy considering how great Team Magma looks.
