Those are two of the worst, most forgettable pokemon of all time. It would be a mistake on gf part to use two mega slots on them

If they add Simple as its ability and give it a bunch of boosting moves then it could actually work.

Fire/Ground is an awesome offensive STAB combo.

Maybe they will actually use Groudon/Kyogre in the remakes before you can capture them and the Mega Glasses/Pendant will be used for that. Pretty much the only other possibility.

I mostly can guess which Pokemon is the Signature Mon of the NPCs but I'm having a hard time with Archie and Maxie, my memories of their team might be blurry but Signature Mon has always struck me as "Hey, that's their big gun" when they send them out.

It's already confirmed that locations at least of catches are changeing if you watch one of the trailers. Pikachu is caught in a regular pokeball when in R/S/E it was SAFARI ONLY; and therefor should be a Safari Ball.

you could have an ability where getting hit with water-type moves causes it to stockpile the water rather than taking damage, and then maybe a signature move that involves blasting steam from its humps? maybe it works like scald but gets stronger depending on the amount of stockpiles you have from the ability?

To include a Pokemon that was already there when the original games were made?

Also, the only pokemon who got added to the Johto dex for HGSS were evos of Pokemon in the original Johto dex, and FRLG didn't add anything to the Kanto dex.

I'd honestly be disappointed. That thing is awful. I used it on my first play through of Emerald, and I tried using it in XD (replaced it with Houndoom), but it sucked no matter what. It could never carry its own weight.
