I often hear people complain about pokemon that were fucked over by the transition to 3d models, but is there a pokemon that you didn't like until you saw it in X/Y? Pic related.

Eelektross and most of the flying Pokemon. I hate how their models. I would've preferred them to stay grounded and do their movement animation when attacking.

Hitmontop is the only pokemon from a previous gen that I like more here than in another game. He is a lot less threatening though

Man, Zigzagoon in 3D was fucking amazing. I was really impressed with its model and holy fucking shit is it cute in Amie.

Also Vaporeon's model was fantastic. I was worried it'd be fucking sitting down AGAIN, but it's literally perfect.

All 5th gen pokemon. Their designs were too intricate to be properly represented by small 2D sprites. I could barely make out emboars face for example. Now they look much more comprehensible with 3D models, especially if your playing on an XL 3DS.

I really, really did not like Mega Swampert. At all.

I still don't LOVE it, but seeing it in 3D and in motion in all of the trailers has caused me to warm up to him somewhat. He looks better "live" than in the stock artwork.

Honestly, why did they even change EVERY cry? The only ones who needed it most were Gen 1 and 2. Gen 3 still sounded great, Gen 1 and 2 were just outdated.
