I use Parasect in OU on my monobug team. It actually does a really good job at fucking over Scald-users, Smeargle, and Breloom. Parasect definitely has my newfound appreciation.

My endgame team the first time I played Sapphire:
Crobat, level: mid 20's
Sceptile, level: early to mid 30's
Pelipper, level: late 80's

I was really young and idiotic, so he was pretty much the only thing I trained. Never beat the elite four on that file, but damn did I have fun trying.

Still have yet to get one to 100 (besides gen 1 glitch). Currently my level 93 charizard is the highest I have ever gotten, though leveling seems much easier this gen, especially with exp share. Feels like cheating how easy it is to level up now.

My bro since gen 1. I remember trying to level a Staryu to like level 90 in Blue to make it evolve, and I was so happy when I figured out you have to use a Water Stone to evolve it. Staryu kicked enough ass before it evolved so I was super excited when it finally evolved. In Emerald, I bred one for the Battle Frontier and it obliterated everything. I later used that very same Starmie in the early days of Diamond and Pearl when I still played on wi-fi and it was glorious because I was running a Modest one with a Choice Scarf back when no one realized the value of Scarf on fast sweepers. I still have clones of that same Starmie on all my gen 4 carts.

Both Gen 4 and 5 overall had some pretty meh designs with some good exceptions. Gen 6 was the first time in a long while where i could get pretty much any 6 pokemon and have a cool looking team.

I would fucking love Megazard X if it kept Charizard's original color scheme. Why the fuck did they have to make it so edgy. It looks alright, but the color scheme is so edgy its hard for me to really like it.
