Bulbapedia's different because - despite the inherent usefulness of the wiki format - the only reason it's so popular was because it got there first and ended up entrenched. The people in charge don't do the best job with it, and it often goes weeks or months without updating. Not to mention the guy who runs it is total fucking creeper.

It gets even weirder when (if at least half the stories I've heard of him are true) he runs a secretive porn forum and his underlings borderline worship him. He's a really, really weird dude - and not in a good way.
