That's a little obtuse, not everyone is paranoid they'll run into shinies constantly.

The true retards are the ones who actively go shiny hunting and go "LOL I forgot to bring pokeballs or a false swiper" or they don't do basic research to find out the movesets of wild pokemon to prepare for roar/selfdestruct/etc.

Not OP, but 99% of the time if I want a pokemon I'll breed it, and when I rarely do want to catch a pokemon I forget to prepare for it. Essentially pokeballs are useless after E4 to me.

Like above, I hardly ever think about catching pokemon post game, if I run out of pokeballs or accidentally kill some random wild pokemon then I can just find it again, usually sorting through boxes of pokemon for a dedicated swiper isn't worth it. Too bad OP actually cares about wild shinies

Like I said here>>19637710, if I fail to catch a wild pokemon, I'll just buy a few balls then try again. That's far simpler to me than wasting a team slot on some false swipe/spore parasect at all times

And yes, technically basculin is harder to catch than politoed
