I used it at the beginning of gen 5 for a while when I was still new to competitive.

I used a rain/sun team because I wanted the best of both worlds. It did not work.

I used it with a sunny say rapidash in gen 4
Its only real "oh snap" moment was OHKOing a metagross with weather ball.

I used it in Ubers with Groudon - worked relatively well - use Protect when Groudon uses Earthquake, use Helping Hand with any other attacking move. It also doesn't have a x4 weakness unlike Jumpluff, but still dies pretty fast regardless unless you time your protects well.
