Why is his mega evolution so perfect?
Sableeye always flew under my radar for regular playthroughs, but I need one in ORAS.

Anyone feel a little underwhelmed with Sableyes Mega?
I mean I get that they kept the same proportions and basic design since its already pretty cute and perfect, but I cant help but feel a bit cheated. Like giving it a giant jewel and some spikes is changing it up at all

they're not meant to be full evolutions of pokemon, so it makes sense that it wouldn't be that different

plus, we already know what happens when GF changes it up slightly too much

Were Swampert's and Sceptile's MEvo revealed the same time or did they come much earlier? I only learned of Sableye's MEvo the other day and the accompanying video showed the other 2 and I got a bit giddy. Swampert looks a bit odd though.

What if this is just Mega Sableye Omega and there is a Mega Sableye Alpha.

Since this one has a ruby shield, the other one can have saphire sword and maybe be a little more bulky or threatening.

Mega's shouldn't be gigantic transformations - it's still the same Pokemon.

Sableye is characterized by two things - it loves gems and it's a little dick.

Mega Sableye gets to have a giant gemstone and point and laugh at enemies behind it.

It's perfect. He's a little laughing treasure hunter.

Except Mawile is the Sapphire version.

It makes sense. Both were 480 BST exclusives. Mawile gets a huge boost to its offensive abilities, it looks like Sableye is going to get a boost to its defense.
