I tried playing Generation 5, and then Generation 6 games, but all I got left with was it not being very fun. I'd get to about the first or second gym and lose all drive to keep going. I thought maybe I didn't like Pokemon anymore, but I just tried a Gen 3 game, and despite the lack of features, I had a lot of fun. And I don't get it. Has this really just become a nostalgia thing?
I mean, it could be the lack of the internet connection, AT&T hates my 3DS after multiple attempts to get it to behave. But all I'm seeing is trade and battling, and a post-game of that sounds sort of meh. Has anyone else had this happen?
