What would a Poison legendary even be?

The only one I could think of would be a play on Famine from the Horsemen of the Apocolypse. They would all have to be hald Dark type and then their other corresponding type for each Horsemen.

Considering Yveltal and Xerneas have the exact same base stats, you wouldn't need to change it. You could also make an average semi-mixed Special tank with access to Quiver Dance somehow.

I've thought of the four horsemen as legendaries too, but I think you're confusing famine with pestilence which is a false horseman constructed by media.

If anything they'd be:
Conquest - Dark/Fighting
War - either Dark/Fire or Dark/Steel
Famine - Dark/Ground
Death - Dark/Ghost

Anyway, as for a poison legendary, I think it'd be cool to see something like a Poison/Electric box jellyfish. Something that's very alien in appearance.

Some Pokemon have different evolutions depending on if they're male or female, so why aren't there some with different mega evolutions? they'd use the same mega stone, but each individual would only be able to get one particular type/ability from becoming mega, depending on gender.

Personally I thought X and Y would have got a poison type legendary when it was first announced because I went with the assumption that X and Y were about chromosomes and that a cool legendary would be a poison type that was a virus of some sort.

Gen 7 could be about technology and human progress, there could be two teams one that preaches transhumanism and the other (2 games, like how Ruby has Team Magma and Sapphire has Team Aqua) is completely against that and tries to get rid of the technologic architectures all through-out the region (think Purity First like in Deus Ex) telling people and the player that technology is poison infecting our perfect bodies.

The team that preaches transhumanism could be after a legendary that is Poison/Steel type.
