Should I join Kangaskhan's international Challege?
It would be fun if my friends joined but they didn't.
I can still get championship points, though there's no pint unless the finals are near my hometown.

She's still manageable in Doubles. With the 4MMS she's suffering from, she cannot afford to invest a slot for Protect, making her susceptible to being double targeted.

That's because half the meta are built to deal with it. It has around 50% usage last I checked.
4MMS a shit when it only needs the four moves it uses.

I've registered, but I need to determine a better team to use. I sucked hard in May. I did amazingly on the first day of Think Fast, losing maybe twice out of the 10 battles, then ended up finishing the competition with 10 wins and 12 losses, mostly due to hax. Yes, I realise I'm "making excuses", but fuck, I did so well with my Boomburst Exploud. Maybe it's time to retire her, at least temporarily.

Aww, that's alright then.

Guess I don't have to worry about Rotom-H, Rotom-W, Smeargle, Garchomp, Tyranitar, M-Tyranitar, Talonflame, both Charizards, bloody Gardevoir, M-Manectric, M-Mawile, Gyrados, Greninja...

There's a lot more to the meta than Kangaskahn, and in fact a lot of the stuff that beats Kangaskahn is stuff you'd want to take anyway to beat physical attackers. I take Machamp to guard MZY from Rock Slides, but it's also great for killing Kangaskahn. You can counter her by accident.

Worth running stone edge on garchomp for anti-meta? Or just stick with rock slide?

also modest or min speed on sublefties aegi? Modest means you can sub against amoonguss and other slowmons, but min speed means you can stay in shield forme longer

Rock Slide seems like the better deal for chances to hit both targets (And 60% to flinch either pokemon). I never managed to hit with Stone Miss in April event, so I hate it.

Modest sounds like the deal if you're using Substitute with Leftovers.

Rock Slide.

Can hit both targets so it's tougher for the opponent to beat it through switches and prediction, Garchomp's fast so flinches are relevant, and the chances of hitting something are far higher.

Just be sure to look up what VGC'14 mons get Wide Guard.

They would be in the meta even if M-Kanga were not. They're all fucking solid. Kangaskahn can be countered just by taking mons that beat her as an entirely secondary characteristic.

Look, I can play this game too and declare that the meta is all about beating MZY. You're so stupid! The Rotoms T-Bolt it, Garchomp and TTar Rock Slide it, Talonflame Brave Birds it, Manectric Volt Switches into something that resists, Mawile holds a chipped one off with Sucker Punch and Gyrados resists and beats it with Waterfall. Spec Gardevoir outspeeds. I can declare all this just as easily, and add on that Politoad exists only to stop MZY and Trick Room is entirely to stop an accompanying Chlorophyll Venusaur. It's all just as much bullshit as your post.

I played against four Smeargles on cartridge just today. Saying that "nobody uses Smeargle" and then saying it's entirely down to M-Kanga kind of says this about you.

I wouldn't say I'm great, but I've reached 1690+ when VGC 14 was the Special cartridge format and went 4-1 in the UK Nationals before having to leave (the tournament started 2+ hours early).
