Hey /vp/,

I got my Powersaves recently, but I've got a problem. It works on Windows just fine, but I can't access the website nor the servers when using Parallels when I'm on OS X. I've taken my modified hosts file out of the equation, and turned off ad-blocking, but I still can't find a way for OS X to connect to the servers. Is there something else that could be blocking it? Something I'm missing? Perhaps something that Datel requires for Powersaves that is blocked by a third-party program?

That's a Linux distro, isn't it? I don't want that sort of solution. I don't currently have the hard drive space for Linux. I can boot into Windows if I want, but I want a way to run it through my Mac internet connection under Parallels.

Yeah, and just a word of advice, it WOULD work under Parallels if it weren't for this problem (which is probably specific to me), but you cannot use it with Wine because Wine doesn't have USB support (although USB support is possible but very sketchy and limited and really not worth even trying).

If anyone can help me, I can give you anything that can be traded online (I don't think Latiasite/Latiosite can be traded online, for example, but I can try). I have cloned 6IV Modest Impostor Dittos. Basically, if Powersaves can do it and I can trade it, I'll give it to you for helping me. Just be aware the Diancie and AZ's Floette are no longer available.

Why is it sad? Because you don't like Mac? Deal with it. I'm really sick of people saying what others can and can't have. Once I repair my desktop computer, I'll have Linux up and running again, but frankly, I'm happy using OS X and Windows as it is. I have no real need for Linux.

the very first reply to your thread was "install gentoo" which is a joke on the board /g/, whenever somebody has a problem with tech, assholes on /g/ always say "install gentoo" whcih is the shittiest version of linux there is. it's a joke.
i just though it was funny how you replied, thinking he was serious. you probably didnt even know what gentoo was when you read that. you probably googled it real fast to try to sound like you knew what the fuck he was talking about.
also i never said anything about OS X. i kind of like it too, although i prefer windows.

OP here. Thanks for the non-help, guys. Way to be jerks instead of actually helping out. I got it to work through 3G tethering, but I can't get it working on WiFi when running OS X.

Guess no one is up to the task of actually solving my problem. I know I'm not. I've spent hours trying to figure this out, to no avail.
