ruby and sapphire : the divide. people really love it or really hate it. very few in between

diamond and pearl: the weakest link. not a terrible abomination but nothing to look at either

black and white: the second great divide
many loved it, others called it unoriginal trash. a target for nostalgia fags

pokemon x and y: for some reasons retired fags caught wind of this one. obvious flaws but a breath of fresh of air. just good.
