It's like if I renewed my kitchenware every half a year just because I have the money, even when it's working fine and is pretty modern. It doesn't matter if I can afford it easily or not, I'm still being a fucking idiot for buying things I don't need under every definition of the word.
And if someone spends stupidly on luxuries with it being their own money, then your parents failed at educating you on the value of saving and you probably ended up being a disappointment, or they don't even care about you at all. Either way, consider suicide.
