>Don't lock yourself into an outrage until steel types are cleared, scrubSo I guess Iron Head is marginally useful when your opponent simultaneously has a levitator (that's not Rotom-W,) a bulky steel type, and a rock type, and don't want to risk Lati@s switching in to an Earthquake and instead want to hit it for 30% and then have something take a Draco Meteor.
>until Smogonbird and 'zards finally become tanky enough to take an outrage, I'll be fineWhat if they have Talonflame+Ferrothorn?
>Let's me live through both hyper voice AND moon blast from Sylveon and Mega-Gardevoir whenever they try to revenge-kill 'chompAlright, Garchomp is weak to:
Ice (Ice Beam- you are not living this)
Dragon (Draco Meteor- you are not living this)
Fairy (all fairies are slower than you can need to be extremely healthy to take an Earthquake, unless they're Sylveon or Clefable which are only 3HKOed anyway.)
And of course, Garchomp lacks all of the hallmarks of a good AV user, which is utility moves (Knock Off) and a source of recovery (Giga Drain, Drain Punch, Regenerator.) If you're worried about Fairies revenge killing you then you'd literally be better off with Earth Plate.
>Also, I've seen some people run scarfed Kyurem-B before, so being able to account for it is a huge boon to GarchompDragon Claw would do more. Earthquake would do ever so slightly less.
