as a mono type boosting pokemon that operates in the same vein as crocune. The big, big, big difference here would be that you wouldn't be able to taunt it, whirlwind it out or even try to slow it down with toxic. With a couple of boosts and nothing that can handle both will-o-wisp and dark pulse, you could have a win condition pretty damn quickly, since you can really only kill magic bouncers with brute force.
Alternatively, you could run a set that looks like
shadow ball
HP fighting
calm mind
recover
To spread out your coverage a bit (damn shame that it doesn't get focus blast, though) at the cost of being able to cripple opposing physical attackers. Maybe there are better moves, but a boosting set in general could be pretty enticing since it can't just be phazed or taunted out. CM espeon manages to play in OU with awful physical defense and pretty mediocre stats otherwise. I feel like this thing could definitely be a threat if it ends up getting its stats in the right places.
