I'm trying to get a living dex on my Y version. I have an Action Replay for DS, and was wondering if I am able to use it to get version exclusive legendaries (of versions i don't have) and event pokemon on my Soul Silver or Black 2 version?

I guess I should clarify, the reason that I ask is because I remember Nintendo saying something about hacked pokemon and not allowing them into the newer generations.

A little late but as long as the Pokemon were caught in legitimate areas, they're transferable. You can't for example, force encounter a Groudon to appear on the first route and expect it to go through.

So basically what I would have to do is hack the event items into my inventory, then do the events to get the pokemon "legitimately"?
