So /vp/, why are pre-evolutions a thing?
Why would you make a shittier useless version of a solid pokemon? Mantyke was unnecessary for two generations, why did they feel the need to make a shitty version of mantine? Just so they could implement some useless gimmick evolution? Why does the world need Azurill, a useless normal type version of a water type pokemon? Sudowoodo was just fine without Bonsly, but could have used an evolution, but now that mega evolutions are a thing we're never going to get new evolutions for pokemon. Just shitty pre-evolutions.

They're literally just pieces of shit to fill in space and make it seem like there are more pokemon in the new generation than there really are.
