What? Why increase it's special attack? There's absolutely no way this things attack stats could become viable even with an increase from a mega evolution. It's a complete fucking waste.

What are you talking about? Clefable doesn't have a mega evolution?

Besides, Sableye's base special attack is 65, while Clefable's base is 95. That's a pretty vast difference in Pokemon.

Still though, why would you ever go with Mega Sableye when you have the choice of Espeon, which can bounce back hazards without having to mega evolve first and has a base 130 special attack and 110 speed?

Espeon will be a way superior version of Sableye, unless they go crazy with the stat addition into special attack and hardly add into defense, and even then it'll just be a slow frail inferior Espeon that can't hold an item.

What the fuck are you even trying to say here? If you're using Sableye for a mega slot why would you have moves on it that compliment Prankster? It'd be a waste of a move slot when if finally mega evolves. If you're running Mega Sableye you'd give it offensive moves.

My entire point is that Mega Sableye is useless with the stat buffs and the ability, and normal Sableye will still be used way more often than mega.

I hope you're kidding, that'd be complete crap. No Pokemon needs to be that good. The best treatment it could have gotten would have been keep Prankster and get a boost to it's defenses.

What kind of point is that to argue? It's a mega Pokemon, it would have never gotten Leftovers anyway. Besides, I think normal Sableye is way better than Mega Sableye at this point anyway.

If there's gonna be a Mega Sableye they could have at least done it right, and this wasn't the right way to do it in my opinion.
