The father can pass down his ability to the child. this can be almost any ability, even if the child couldn't get it naturally before. This allows things like gale wings staraptor, flash fire scizor, and moxie garchomp to be obtained legitimately, however there are some exceptions to this change. Anything in the field egg group doesn't receive this change, and speed boost, huge/Pure power, stance change, defeatist, simple, prankster, fur coat, wonder guard and any weather inducing ability can't be passed on. In addition, archeops, nincada, honedge, can't have their abilities altered by this.
