His gen is over, and they clearly were trying to pull a Lucario. The design is evidence enough.

If he had caught on, he might have had a shot at SSB4.

this sounds unreasonably stupid. what is their "design" then? humanoid like? if so, then any humanoid like pokémon is a lucario rip off.

if gamefreak wanted to do something, they would do it. they just wanted to give zoroark some spot light. they genuinely just wanted to give zoroark some spot light, not make him as core and meta as lucario.
