I'm kind of holding out hope that we'll see some more pokemon with Primal Regression possible. It would be really silly to introduce a new form of Mega Evolution and only use it on two pokemon. I mean, yeah, Rayquaza is obviously gonna get one too, but still, there are plenty of Legends who could benefit from something like that, and a handful of regular mons that are genuinely ancient (I'm thinking stuff like Golurk and Claydol), so fingers crossed.
Ideally I'd love to see the same amount of new megas that we got with X/Y. There are plenty of Hoenn pokemon that could benefit from one, and they could even toss in a few Kalos mons that you can only get stones for post-game. Basically until I get a mega for ALL the starters I'm not going to be satisfied. Gen 1 and 3 starters only is total bullshit. Gen 2 starters could especially benefit from mega abilities, added subtypes and stat boosts. Gen 4 already have some interesting type combos so they'd benefit most from new abilities and Gen 5 could use some sub-type changes (Water/Fighting Samurott and Grass/Fairy Serperior covered in flowers anyone?).
