tbh I believe your chances of getting the right IV's you need are good
Especially since destiny knot takes 5 IV's from either parent(not just the one that's holding it)
So there would be a chance that you could get the 0 iv in speed, but also get something bad in another IV since the 6th one is random
Also don't forget you need to evolve the honedge first to breed it

Hey /shw/, lemme tell you a story.

So I got that Mareep I was looking for from the last time I was on these threads and I noticed I had three open spots left in my shiny box. So I though "I'll get a couple more horde mons, and finally get that Pumpkaboo as my last one."

So over the course of a week I get that Whismur and Swablu (couldn't play much with work and such), and I start running around in a Safari to find that pumpkin.

A couple days ago, while listening to some sweet Mega Man tunes... I made a huge mistake. I ran from the damn pumpkin, because the camera angle made it so I couldn't see the purple body. After going through the stages of grief, I start again.

Two extra Lampents and two extra Dusclops later, I finally found it and caught it using a Master Ball because symbolism.

So it's been real and I hope y'all have good luck on your hunts, I think I've had my fill for now.

TL;DR: Looked for shone pumpkin, ran from shone pumpkin, caught shone pumpkin later, done with shiny hunting for now.

Been chain fishing since the game came out and today I finally found a chinchou could never find one because of trolling remoraids. Think I've caught about 10 since then and wonder traded them all. It's not the greatest in terms of statwise having the highest of 28 in hp only with a hasty nature but I guess as long as I have it makes that makes me happy. Currenty doing Masuda for froakie 128 eggs so far no luck yet.

I was breeding for the eevee friendly, planning on espeon, and told myself I'd keep going until I hatched a pentaperfect HA female or a shiny.

A Jolteon with Volt absorb and 3 IV's
That's all that's really up to par with those Larvesta's in terms of IV's
Otherwise I also got Basculin,Octillery,Arcanine, and Zoroark
