I still think Alder is the most based Champion and am not happy with Iris replacing him. But if Alder is okay with it, I'm okay with it.

Pic related. Gen V champion musics are a fucking joke. In Gens I-IV the music was fucking intense and got you all pumped up, but in Gen V it's like "Lalalala I'm a champion and my team sucks, let's have a joke battle lalalala". The worst thing is that Diantha's music isn't any better.

Diantha's music is a lot better, though. It actually carries off the twinkly glamor princess thing while maintaining a solid chord progression and decidedly Pokemonesque motifs. It's precisely everything Iris failed to be.
