Too lazy to count exactly how many, but probably 40-50. Quite a few of those are bum MM shones though

Mega Garchomp definitely has the best shiny. Sadly, vanilla Garchomp's shiny is kind of sad - it needs to have the same palette as it's Mega.

My late grandma used to bake these sugared shortbreak cookies shaped like a crescent moon, and I'd always called them frozen bananas because I loved eating them straight from the fridge/freezer for whatever reason.

I wanted a shiny Lickilick in B2. I requested a Lickitung on GTS in hopes if getting a foreign one to work with. What I received was perfect JP shiny Lickitung with egg moves and HA. Kinda killed my motivation to breed one even though it was clearly RNGd or Genned. I still haven't done anything with her though.

Unfortunately no. I could easily buy one but it'd feel like I'm wasting money.

I use my Y copy mainly for breeding since I already have the shiny charm and everything else I need. After ORAS I guess it'd not be so hard to reset my X copy, since blazikenites and the other stones will be more common.

The only difference between MMing with a genned foreign Ditto and a regular one is that a shone bred from the former has a better chance of being useful. Either way you still have to put frankly insane amounts of time into egg hatching.

It's a personal preference some people have, saves them time collecting eggs. I don't do it because it has two downsides, one being when you hatch the shiny you need to hatch the rest of the eggs, and should your 3ds get shut off in any way, you NEED to hatch those eggs all over again, knowing theres no shiny

this is true. Shinies gave a higher chance of breeding shinies in g/s/c but it doesn't help anymore. MM is the only confirmed way of cutting your chances while breeding.
