Some of the designs I don't like include ice cream cone, sanic cat, and a good half of the gen 4 additional evolutions, like magmortar, electivire, rhyperior. Tangrowth and yanmega are k.
I don't know, maybe it's just nostalgia, bit gen 1 pokes just seem more solid. There's a lot in later gens that also have that feeling, but mostly gen 3 and later, there's a few that just feel like they shouldn't belong. Ah well, people with opinions gonna keep shoving them down your throat.
