My team is umbreon, flareon, leafeon, vaporeon, sylveon and espeon.

A fun set I've heard of is adaptability eevee with curse protect quick attack and last resort. Pair it up with espeon to set up dual screens and trick room + vaporeon for wish passing and try to sweep :L

You need to have one move besides Last Resort for it to work. Though it probably can be Protect.

I mostly know it for the Fake Out + Last Resort Ambipom combo, though it might work on Eevee too.

But the only thing i'm aware of that lets eeveelutions phaze is Roar which is available on a few of them via TM

I was planning on using last resort adaptability eevee but I found out work up isn't available in gen 6. I should probably build my team now. Most eeveelution tricks won't work since just about all of the hidden abilities (and synchronize) would fuck you up if you try to inflict a status problem

I presume those egg moves to be most useful for breeders:

- Fake Tears
- Stored Power
- Yawn

- Wish (Vaporeon, Umbreon, others to lower degrees)
- Curse (Flareon, Umbreon)
- Natural Gift (Leafeon)

I guess Endure + Flail could also be a usable combo, but you need to have a speed advantage to sweep. And everything get priority through Quick Attack..

I like that Eevee is actually kinda viable in this metagame. When they did this last gen, it was actually used more than Flareon, although Flare Blitz might change that.

Jolteon seems completely useless in this format. Defensively, it only does well against mirrors. Offensively, it's outclassed by Leafeon, which hits Vaporeon harder and is still faster than the other Eevees besides Jolteon and Espeon.

Flareon seems pretty strong, hitting two opponent's super-effectively with its STAB and resisting three STABs.

Though I dunno if Glaceon will see much love here. I guess it will be on the bottom of the list.

Jolteon's twave might be useful against any chlorophyll leafeons, assuming they don't have a lum.

Wish you could have tutors though, jolteon would really like to have signal beam, hitting 3 others SE. And flareon would also want superpower and possibly iron tail. Knock off on leafeon would also be great. And they all want heal bell, though at least safeguard is a thing.

Dammit GF, why'd you have to do this one before ORAS tutors?

I forgot about that, also there's Natural Gift, which has been buffed this gen with 100 attack when using stat increasing berries (which will also activate it's effect). Apicot will give you Ground type and increase your Sp.Defense, so I know a few Flareon users might carry Natural Gift.

I can also see Flareon with Fighting type NG, the only down side is you can only use it once and this is rotation battles, but if you feel lucky.

You only need to build a stallbreaker mon. Banded Flareon or Normal Gem+Hyper Beam Sylveon work pretty fine.

-Wish

-Scald
-Roar/Toxic
This is the usual set. Wish for lasting, Protect to make sure you don't get KOed the turn after, Scald for STAB damage whittling (and a chance for Burn to help with your maxed out Defense), and Roar for phasing (Wouldn't doubt people will use a Baton Pass team) or Toxic for damage while stalling if you don't want to wait for Scald to burn them.

Espeon is usually used for Baton Passing, but you'll only have one pokemon to switch out to, so it wouldn't be too useful if one of the four teammates was knocked out, or if on the switch you got roared out. Though Rotation battles do allow you to rotate Espeon after say using Calm Mind or Substitute so another can take the hit. You could go for a Trick Room team and max out important stats while having everyone's speed lowered. Really those are examples, Espeon should be worked on last so you know what set to give it to support it's teammates.

You could make it Bold with max Defense instead. It will be able to take hits from Leafeon and Flareon if needed while still tanking the rest of them. Just enough HP left to use Wish so another Eeveelution can take the hit for it then recover, or to use a Calm Mind then switch to your Vaporeon to tank it, use Wish then switch back and Protect.

If you feel lucky you could replace either Protect or Wish with Misty Terrain and cause Flareon's Guts to not take effect. Then allow Vaporeon to tank it.

Even with Leafeon (the only other physical attacker Eeveelution) you can tank it.
>252+ Atk Leafeon Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sylveon: 45-54 (36 - 43.2%) -- 97.6% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
After Swords Dance:
>+2 252+ Atk Leafeon Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sylveon: 88-105 (70.4 - 84%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Though it's best to use your own Leafeon or Umbreon to take physical hits.
