>>19733107It's not that good of a show. Some of the animations looked real bad, like as bad as the purposely drawn bad stuff from FLCL. It was alright when FLCL did it since it was, what ~10+ years ago? KLK shouldn't have decided to copy that style for the fast paced action.
The Main Character is shit - I hated Ryuuko. Satsuki was alright and when the Anime focused on her I found myself getting interested only to be turned back to shitty, shitty Ryuuko.
I also don't need fanservice to want to watch an anime, I want good characters and a good story alongside good action - KLK only had action and nothing else. I enjoyed the characters with less screen time (Ragyo, Nui, DTR Guy) much more than Ryuuko/Senketsu and it was really because of Ryuuko. She was just annoying in general.
The plot was weird too. Like, Satsuki was angry with Ragyo bc of what she did to Ryuuko and her father. She thinks her mother caused Ryuuko to die as a baby and caused her father to leave so she wants to get back at her. BUT, Ryuuko didn't die, her father was fine until Nui killed him and Satsuki doesn't even bat an eye at this. Her whole reason for being mad at her mom is completely a lie and, when she should be mad at Nui for killing her dad she isn't. Yet Ryuuko is when she never liked her dad from the beginning and is only fighting to find out what happened.
Tl;DR
KLK is pretty weak as an anime in my opinion
