Hence why I went through the interview process, asking me little things like what did my E-mail address mean, where I grew up, my parents' names, occupations, my future plans, how many g/f I've had, what I do for fun, etc. Also, I was the one who had to speak to her directly to take my g/f out, giving detailed plans on the who, what, when, where, and how in regards to our dates. Most of the times she would say no, but the few times she said yes, she'd call both of us every hour. Got really mad when we didn't pick up at the movies, so we had to show our ticket stubs as proof. Her family is Filipino, her grandparents being DIE HARD ethnic types, believing the only good future is with a doctor. The main reason they look down on me so much...but meh!

Interesting enough, I got her siblings into Pokemon too. Her brother, now 14, I think, lost my original red cartridge (I was very pissed, but wasn't too hard on him, cuz I shouldn't have loan it to a 7/ 8 year-old), but has now become really competitive, going to live tournaments to compete. Hasn't won yet, so I tease him by calling him the new Ash.
