Sup i've been playing a few matches on Pokemon Showdown using the random rated function also i'm shit at competitive battling but out of all the wins and losses i've noticed a pattern with almost 90% of showdown players.

>That guy who takes forever to pick his move, normally I give people a chance but after about a minute I click the little button and let it tick down.
>The guy like above who will press the button at the start and wait 149 seconds before picking his move.
>Those guys who disconnect if you outsmart them i.e. Guy sends out houndoom random team gives me mamoswine (only attacking move ice shard, predicting a mega evo) so switch to swanna opponent uses boost move (can't remember which but +2 to SpA and Speed) I use rain dance, opponent disconnects.
>the opponents who quit after you kill 2 of their team.
>That guy who has team of ubers rage quits on last mon when he was going to lose.

^Example of how shit I am in competitive but win/lose is about 70%/30% I don't forfeit or quit unless something IRL comes up then I say "gg" and forfeit the match.
