It's not a matter of it just getting buffed, it's a matter of people using your favorite Pokemon just because it has something which gives it an advantage in competitive play.

Scizor wasn't bad in Gen II and III and for the early days of IV, but once it got Bullet Punch in Platinum it basically became a top tier fighter, which just makes me love it even more.

Coincidentally, ever since Gen 4 started my team always ended up with one, and every time it was from an online trade because I usually couldn't find it in my game at all or it would appear far too late in the game otherwise.

He does have SuperPower but only as a DW exclusive which can't be tutored for some strange reason. Maybe in ORAS they'll change that. I think he needs the Mawile treatment as 60 across the board can really only be saved with an OP ability. Mega Spinda would be great in Doubles though with all the Intimidates running around and a nice Ghost immunity along with resisting dark, rock, and bug.

Or a Normal/Psychic type with an auto tr ability with 60/50/100/100/100/30 stat spread. although this will never happen I just want one of my favorites to have some utility

Breloom and Heracross are in my favorites, and Breloom has always been OU

Third gen was Sporepunching or Substitutepunching with Leech Seed for healing

4th gen gave it Poison Heal and poison orb

5th gen gave it Technician and a buffed Bullet Seed, plus Force Palm and Low Sweep which lowers speed

Its still OU in this gen despite bravest bird being around and Low Sweep getting nerfed, it also got a 90 BP rock move after Technician that lowers speed
