Who would learn this move, anyway? That's something that bugged me about Freeze-Dry. Awesome move, screws over all sorts of stuff, but it sucks on Mammoswine (not enough SpA), and the only other guy who's even remotely good with it is Arcticuno (and that's being generous). If somebody like Kyurem leaned it, it might be a different story, but that isn't the case.

Anyway, I'm going to suggest this:
Cripple
Dark (physical)
60 power
100 accuracy
Enemies hit by cripple can't regain health unless they switch out.

How about a move that works like trick room, but instead of switching speeds, it reverses weaknesses and resistances for a few turns? For example, now bug beats fire and water beats grass. I'm not sure how it would work with types that negate each other, though. What would that mean? Like, in this reversed type room, what would psychic do to dark, or normal do to ghost?

To be fair, most Bug/Flying types are shit by stats alone. And there's only two Rock-types in OU.
I'd like to see Rock moves used by non-Rock-types get nerfed, like halving the power of each layer of SR unless it was laid by a Rock-type, and making new Rock-type moves with interesting effects exclusive to Rock-type Pokemon.

In all fairness, that would work to balance Gale Wings Talonflame (assuming who gets it). But that would destroy other Pokemon. Kind of like Fairy type being created to (barely) balance dragon types.

Talonflame is still my favorite Pokemon. No fucks given. A good friend of mine rolls with Volcarona as his mon of choice, he says he hopes that ORAS introduces a Mega Relicanth with a prehistoric-based ability that reverses priority.

Silly overpowered moves, you say?

Steal Strength
Ghost (maybe Dark)
Removes all buffs from the target and gives them to the user. Does not remove debuffs.
If you want it to be even remotely fair, since it outclasses Psych-Up so thoroughly, you could give it non 100 accuracy, I guess.

False Cure
Poison
If the target would regain health this turn, they lose that much instead. Removes the ability Natural Cure.
It's stupid, flavorful, and really annoying. Won't stop Skarmory from roosting, though, since its a poison move. Also, Rest automatically kills you if your opponent used this.

Alchemy
Psychic (maybe fairy)
60 power
100% acc
Transforms all pokemon's held items into Iron Balls. 1% chance of transforming them into Nuggets instead, just for laughs.

Rabbit Punch
Fighting
60 power
100% acc
Critical hits cause OHKO instead of normal damage.
Rabbit punches are illegal boxing moves where you hit opponent in the back of the head. The are called "rabbit" because rabbits have weak necks and that's how rabbit farmers killed them.
