Do people play that any on showdown? I'd love to get back into that meta, but last time I tried literally no one played it. Even though it's one of the greatest metas in history.

M8 are you tryin' to look bad? And I think his point is that anything with Defense can counter Mega Mom. Aegislash, Ferrothorn, You can Toxic and Whirlwind Power Up Punch boosts away with Skarmory, Sableye, Squid version of Julius Pringles, Arcanine.

And then there's Fighting types. Lucario, Machamp, Mienshaq, Conkeldurr, Hitmontop, I don't know how well Scrafty would fair.

How do you use cotton guard when you take more than half from switching in? So you basically have to let something die to get it in. 10/10 logic. Also cotton guard is a shit move, period.
Eq is good on luke because you can go physical without having any problems with aegis. Not to mention that thing can go physical, special and mixed without any problems. I give you 5 minutes to list a hard counter for mega mom or mega luke. You might want to look up what a counter is first.

I don't know about trevenant because it's defense is a shit, but gourgiest has a great defense stat and after a will-o-wisp can take crunches easily and attack with seed bomb.
Sableye is a pretty good counter as well because of will-o-wisp, foul play and recover.

Many of you don't know what a counter is. A counter is something that can switch in on X and kill the X even with a strange set. Look at Talonflame and Tyranitar.
252+ Atk Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tyranitar: 72-85 (17.8 - 21%) -- possible 5HKO
and then
252+ Atk Salac Berry Talonflame Natural Gift (100 BP Fighting) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Tyranitar: 320-380 (79.2 - 94%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Talonflame has less than 30% of chance to kill a Tyranitar even after using a set that is meant to deal with him. Tyranitar is a counter to Talonflame
