We discuss so many pokemon every day, but very rarely it's Muk.
The only time I see it mentioned is when someone states that his name is Kum backwards.

When I was in high school i was fighting a classmate and my 70-something Muk took out someone's lvl 100 Milotic with Explosion. That's really the only Muk story I've got.

I like Carnivine too, I thought he was a cross evolution of Weepinbell when I first saw him, but doubt GF would give him a mega. I don't even know if they've put him anywhere but a small corner of the Safari in DPP.

I was really excited about catching it too. Still love Muk though and it was a complete bro in my Black 2 and Pokémon XD playthroughs.

I did an Emerald Randomizer Nuzlocke once, that Nuzlocke was the one I got invested into more than any other, mostly because I blogged it.
Caught Muk on route 101 and it was still with me at the Elite Four. Since there was something of a slaugher over at Normans Gym, that Muk was far far older than any other party members.

It always 2HKO'd and never came close to getting 2HKO'd itself, it was extremely reliable and truly the only time I'd use the term 'Unexpected Bro'.
Even though half the team was Legendaries by the end thanks to some crazy luck, that Muk never ever felt like a weak link.

I'll never forget it.

Muks a cool guy, I used one in a Firered Omega Nuzlocke and it was my reliable tank provided it wasn't against a ground type, it took psychics pretty well too.
Its my girlfriends favourite pokemon weirdly enough, she even runs an ask blog dedicated to it, surprising but I can't argue with that.

Well muk was not very good in my experience. Maybe I got a bad one, or who knows. I used it as much as I could, but he never kills anything fast and gets hit a lot because of being slow, and I don't like going back to heal it for every single trainer fight...that was a waste of time, so he always stood behind in levels.

Personally I don't like using items at all except for the Elite 4, and even then not during fights to make the game a tiny bit harder.

I ran subpunch Muk on a team at the beginning of gen 6 PU. It did huge work every game, I bred a Grimer up to use in ORAS because of how much I liked it competitively.

Does a pile of goop really fall under 'furry'? I think it'd fall more under whatever googirls count as.

I like Grimer/Muk, it's a shame they don't manage to live up to the standard Weezing sets. Probably in large part because the typing lends itself better to a physical wall and Muk getting an awful move pool. Gunk Shot deserves better accuracy, for one thing.
