In birds, there are no scales under feathers--only skin. This means that, on this part of its body, T. rex was unfeathered. It doesn't prove nor disprove the evidence of feathers, but fuzzy T. rexes are, so far, the stuff of imagination.
Yutyrannus huali was feathered, however, and Yutyrannus was quite big.
