So we can agree that lorewise most Mega Evolved pokemon are stronger than legendaries.

But what's the point of giving legendary pokemon mega evolutions then? I liked the idea of a regular pokemon being able to bash in a legendarie's skull with mega evolution. But giving legendary pokemon mega evolution kinda ruins the value.
