If a move with a chance to freeze gets STAB, it automatically freezes the target

Change it to instant freeze on crits, then you have a deal. This'll also apply to other moves such as thunderbolt and flamethrower

Rock Type critical turning into Stealth Rocks is actually really appealing to me, at least in a conceptual way.

The critical made the Rock move hit so hard it broke into fragments; these become Stealth Rock.
