Sent out, and if you withdraw it, the 5 turns reset. It's pretty much the worst case imaginable.

Since Slow Start is its signature ability, the only way they'd give it better ability is with a Primal/Mega.
I sure fucking hope so, it'd makes Regigigas not suck competitively.

I used Eelektross with Gastro Acid on Slaking in Doubles. That way the Slaking could EQ and wouldn't damage the Eel. A Prankster would be a much better idea, though, because my strategy rarely worked.

How about changing Slow Start so that you still get the 50% reduction but you get 10% of it back every turn so that you're back up to 100% after 5 turns?

If you have access to a genesect or Beeheeyem, you can also use simple beam, but given Regi's complete lack of self-boosting moves it's a subpar option
