>>19813857You don't need a Ditto actually, but the process is still tedious.
First off, you want Mantine because it means you can control both nature and IVs, which is important.
Then, catch N's Tympole in Pinwheel Forest in B2W2. The key is that all of N's Pokemon have 30 IVs across the board.
Then, transfer it to X. Breed it with a Mantine that has good IVs (Mantyke's in Azure Bay always have 3 perfect IVs, so catch some of those). Make Tympole hold Power Band and breed. Check with the IV Judge and if it does NOT have a perfect SpDef stat, check its IVs. (You can go to the Battle Institute to see your Mantine at level 50 so that you can calculate it). Then, if that Mantine has an IV of 30, swap it with the other Mantine . Then give Tympole a Power Belt. Then repeat using a Power Anklet. In effect, you'll have a Mantine with a stat spread of x/x/30/x/30/30. Breeding with a 6IV Pokemon means you will eventually get your desired stat spread. (Although it will take several eggs).
The one advantage to this method is that it makes breeding for HP in that egg group much easier in the future.
But HP Flying is better.
