Not gonna lie, I was one of the people that thought that Flare Blitz would fix it.

Only now I realize it wasn't JUST the lack of moves, but it also has a very awkward stat arrangement.

Only ways to fix it would be to have a complete stat retcon or give it a Fire-type version of Pixilate.

Being the only one to resist pixilate Sylveon's hyper voice is no gimmick, plus it's the only one which can provide speed boosts for baton pass chains, and with its massive special defense it's on paper at an advantage to eeveelutions that aren't umbreon or vaporeon

This guy is retarded. 200 BP Echoed Voice is what you have to worry about on opposing Sylveon because every single one of the rats can learn it so they can fully power Sylveon before it even shows itself. And then it gets interesting because Echoed Voice also counts for the opponent.

Yeah. I was actually planning on getting Trick Room purely to COUNTER others using it in other competitions, but that might actually be pretty handy for Flareon.

Also I didn't know about Facade, I can't believe I didn't know about this before. Practically my entire Eeveelution team is set around countering status effects, that fits beautifully.

I'm going to run dual screens + wish sylveon, flash fire flareon, SD chloro leafeon, and sunny day + toxic + moonlight (+ refresh?) umbreon. (Though a dark move or taunt would be nice on it)

Flare Blitz finally gives Flareon a good STAB that works well with his gigantic Attack stat, but he's too slow, too fragile and lacks coverage.

I could see him jumping up to RU, but he's sorely outclassed at any tier higher than that.

Emboar is still better because of coverage and priority and "soon" it will have Reckless too.

Flareon was born in Gen1 just to wait for Gen6 and join the only tier where it can do well and it deserves PokemonAmie.
