>Further details have been released for the upcoming Season 5 of the Special Battle in the Battle Spot mode of Pokémon X & Y. As noted previously, this mode is a Special Battle mode that allows no items on your Pokémon, to mirror battle styles of Pokémon Red, Green & Blue. It has now been revealed that the season will run from July 15th 2014 until September 8th 2014 and that, as expected, the following Pokémon are banned: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie. All Pokémon used have to be Kalos native.
