I've gotten into pokemon again but I'm sick of playing on an emulator with no wifi. These bundles are going for $150 at Toys R Us, is it worth it? Has anyone gotten this? Know where I can get it cheaper? Will I officially be autistic for buying a 2DS and playing it on the bus to uni? q

2ds looks like a piece of toast. Nintendo must have deliberately designed it to look like shit to sell the more expensive option

I got the OP pic's bundle for Christmas because being in college meant I had no money for a 3DS or XL PLUS the game.

It's worth it if you're just gonna play it indoors, I recommend buying a case if you're taking it out in public so the screens won't get scratched during transport.

I found it comfortable to hold too, and lack of hinges is nice seeing as my DSLite broke its hinge six months after I bought it.

I have a 2DS and a 3DS, 2DS is fine if you're looking to save money.
The 2DS is pretty comfortable and the start/select buttons are much better.
The clamshell design is, in my opinion, better for travel as it keeps your screen from getting scratched. The 3DS doesn't fit in pockets so well either.

The 3DS simply is much better if you travel alot, plus the snapshell design extends its longevity ... well for me, it does. I'm clumsy as fuck.

I got mine refurbished at the Best Buy online store for $70, and doing great after a year. If you're low on cash, consider going used.

I also liked the 3DS 3D the one in the XL didn't looked as good and the jaggies where annoying.

I don't know about the 2DS, it seems comfy but missing the 3D I'm not so sure, it looked like a good feature to have. Also I will need the clamshell design to conceal my power level to the world I'm trying to hard to be normal guys.

All these is based on 10 minutes with the consoles

That's a great deal but I hate my 2DS. Got it because it was cheaper and I don't care for the 3D, but I'm about to sell it and get a 3DS. I hate that it doesn't fold and it's really uncomfortable to me. Maybe I'm just a little bitch but I can't imagine playing Smash on this thing.

Hit or miss though, buying a cat in the bag really. Friend of mine got a refurbished DS Lite from DealExtreme back in the day and it was totally fucked, obviously no warranty of any sorts either.

Actually it's one of the few 2DS cons. The closable screen helps it to protect the sceen and to improve portability.

Also it has a mono speaker, so no stereo for you.
