Or rather, not have Event versions be overshadowed by Shiny "Normal" legendary, kids don't really care about the movesets. So shit like "Dialga with Judgement" is not as attractive as "SHINY Dialga" to them, but if they can get Shiny Dialga in the game and may have done so then the event is meaning less, meaning less kids come and spend Shekels on the shit surrounding the event, you know stuff like the Movies, Gamestop, Temporary Pokémon Center.
