To an incredibly common attack.

Normally heatran can tank some hits and dish some good ones back, but the point is that a single super-effective hit would have killed the damage your eruption was doing.

You were just incredibly lucky that you were in sunlight and your opponent ran a set that was highly advantageous for you.

It proves nothing about the efficacy of eruption under realistic circumstances.
