I'm considering leaving the series.
It's now too easy even by pokémon standards, no challenge at all (I haven't lose a single time in over 70 hours of gameplay, same can't be said for gen 2, for example), no more fun in leveling a pokemon, legendaries are too easy to catch (first time I tried to catch Rayquaza I used over 30 ultraballs, in this gen I never used more than 8-10), the new artstyle (and the way they decided to approach 3D) is unappealing, internet pretty much ruined every mystery/myth/urban legend the game could have and avoiding it is stupid and impossible, nobody play it where I live so another pro to this series is dead, also overall the last three games had been generally pretty boring comparing to the others; I should go full competitive, but unfortunately I have also a life and other interests.
And all of this would even be ok, but now I'm supposed to buy a new one for 50$ almost every year?
