Is Mewtwo shiny-locked in X/Y? I've seen a few shinies on the GTS with pentagons, but I'm never too sure if they're legit. Any definitive answers?

Of course you don't.
No one dumped the code yet so we can't be 100% sure but since no one was able to find a shiny one yet, we can just assume that it's locked.

I don't even see why it would be locked in the first place. It never had been locked before and Shinies of it already exist. Why not let it be shiny? Continuity with the opening cutscene? That was never a problem before. Makes no sense.
