Since X and Y's release I always felt that Braxien had all the right tools to be an interesting Eviolite user.
Not offensively like its evolution but rather more defensive using egg moves like Magic Coat to its full advantage.

I love making weird Pokemon sets so i'll share what I have recently bred. If you like it i'll breed a few more and trade them off.

Braixen@Eviolite
Ability: Magician
EVs: 4 SpD / 252 Def / 252 HP
Calm Nature
- Magic Coat
- Will-O-Wisp
- Fire Spin
- Wish


>Magic Coat is to keep hindering status off you while messing up your opponent.

>Will O Wisp is to add DoT(Damage over time) while nerfing physical attackers.

>Fire Spin traps while doing DoT

>And Wish is your life line making sure you stay alive or passing off heals to other party members.

If you predict a knock off go for FireSpin and when you lose your eviolite you can use Magician to steal
an opponents item (for example Conkuldurr wearing Assult vest)

I use it a lot as an anti lead. For example, an anti-lead against Sableye.
Using Sableye as an example, if it tries to taunt you Magic coat will work in your favor and bounce taunt back.
You can then either switch out or Will O Wisp Sableye or anything that tries to switch in to counter Braixen.
